Severo

Severo -  male bardino mix around a year and a half old.

Shelter life hasn’t suited him as he has so much energy that being confined to a kennel  most  of the day was very frustrating for him. He was showing some signs of aggression towards other dogs and had clearly had no previous training. A loving, playful dog though who likes nothing better than running free chasing a toy (not always happy to give it up though!). He also loves tracking and enjoys playing ‘hide and seek’ with his toy. His obedience training has gone very well as he will do anything for a bit of chicken. He will make a real best friend for whoever adopts him but will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep him from getting bored and up to mischief!

Ronnia

Ronnia – A six month old Dalmation mix.

Ronnia is a lively, playful puppy but, unfortunately, is totally deaf.

This is no problem for a dog, a deaf dog can live out their life as happy as a hearing dog but owners ideally need to teach a few hand signals in order to communicate.

I will be working with Ronnia to teach her basic hand signal commands to help prepare her for her new home when she is adopted.

Salvador

Salvador – A very nervous 4 year old male Podenco.

Salvador has been in the shelter for nearly three years and is fearful of everything.  He has been reserved to be re-homed in Germany so I am working with him to try and help him overcome some of his issues and start preparing him for a new home.
